I found this on the local craigslist. Dodge Ram, not a lot of info, and an engine misfire. The solution could be as easy as a spark plug, or I could need new injectors. What do you think Oppo? Get more info or just move to next listing.

If it's a simple fix, it could be a good price, but the ad was Kinja'd, so I don't know what it looks like.

It actually looks pretty solid, but I wouldn't buy it if you are looking to flip it. Especially since a quick search under Dodge Ram in your CL reveals running well ones don't go for much more.

just remember that dodge rams from that era had terrible auto trannies. know for failures

Hmm.. the "needs work" part before the mentioning of the cylinder 7 misfire is what gets my attention. When I make a Craigslist ad, I'm painfully thorough, which is why I cannot fathom how people think it's acceptable to be so freaking vague about things in their postings. Still probably NP. 1000$ is pretty cheap. As long as it had no transmission issues, I'd probably look in to it assuming I could figure out whatever misfire/engine problems it was having for pretty cheap.

Looks like it has some rust issues on the passenger side, too.

That's pretty common for those old Ram's though. Nothing too serious as long as it's not on the frame.
